About Our Program

Our curriculum is designed to meet each student's unique needs by providing a personalized approach to education. We understand that each student learns differently, and we work closely with parents and any therapies the students may have to identify areas that require attention. For instance, if a student is struggling with reading comprehension will develop an individualized curriculum that focuses on improving their reading skills, such as providing additional reading materials, using visual aids, and incorporating interactive activities. We may also develop specific target behaviors that may be contributing to reading delays, such as attention and fluency. By doing so, we can ensure that each student receives the support they need to succeed. 

We believe in providing a comprehensive approach to education, and our curriculum is designed to cater to a wide range of focuses, including academic, social, emotional, and independence skills. We believe that by providing a well-rounded curriculum that includes academics and other essential life skills, we can help our students develop the skills they need to succeed in all areas of their lives. Our non-profit private school is committed to ensuring the academic, developmental, and social success of all students. We do this by setting behavioral goals, or target behaviors, on an individual basis. Our team of educators and therapists work closely with each student to identify their unique needs, strengths, and challenges, and develop strategies to help them achieve their goals. Our approach includes data collection through various methods, such as direct observation, behavior rating scales, and self-reporting, as well as qualitative feedback from families and standardized assessments. We use evidence-based programs to help students with language, learning, and behavioral difficulties reach their full potential. By setting and monitoring individualized goals, collaborating closely with families and staff, and using a data-driven approach, we ensure that each student receives the support they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

We use behavior analytic principles to guide our teaching and classroom management strategies, creating a positive and supportive environment for our students. Positive reinforcement is key in increasing desired behaviors and motivating students to succeed. Prompting and fading procedures ensure new and previously learned skills are maintained and applied in different settings, while generalization and maintenance procedures ensure students can use their skills in the real world. In addition to the behavior analytic principles mentioned, we also specialize in working with students who may have severe challenges or behavioral issues.  Our staff is dedicated to ensuring that all of our students feel safe, supported, and empowered to learn. We believe that by providing a positive and structured environment, we can help our students develop the skills they need to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
